Date: Sun, Mar 2, 2014 at 5:55 PM Hello Astronomers Christine & Hartmut, So glad to inform you, that we were a group of 16 friends with WanderLust Adventures, led by Team Cosmos Paradise - Dr. Ajay Pradhan & Sagar Tanavade, who successfully tracked 88 Messier objects out of 110 in 1 single night of 1st March 2014, Saturday from a farmhouse near Kalyan, Mumbai, India. The instruments used were two reflecting telesopes - 8-inch EQ & 6-inch Dobsonian. The observation started with orientation to newcomers in the evening of 1st March & concluded by a fabulous tally of 88 by 6 am in the morning of 2nd March. The Messier objects tracked & successfully tracked by Ajay & Sagar and observed by all participants were: 88 Messier objects EXCEPT M2, M15, M16, M26, M30, M33, M52, M55, M61, M72, M73, M74, M75, M76, M77, M84, M86, M87, M98, M99, M109, M110. The excellent logbook keeping of the observation was done by Dr. Veena Madavi & Dr. Komal Gupta.
