Supernova 2014L in M99

Supernova 2014L in M99, first designated PSN J12184868+1424435, was found on January 26, 2014 by a team around Zhang and Wang of the THU-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS, China). It is located 14"W, 16"S of the center of M99 when it was at mag 15.4. It was classified as of Type Ic. It brightened to mag 14.4 on February 6.
